1. Choosing: Find a game we want to do a marathon on, sometimes it’s a given other times it requires some user input (Gears of War or Splinter Cell)
2. Planning: Plan a day(s) that work for everyone so that we can film the marathon as smoothly as possible.
3. Filming: Do the marathon and record it in manageable parts. This is where everything can go wrong causing delays and other problems. It is also the best part for us as we get many hours to play the game.
4. Break: We all go and sleep or something.
5. Editing: Getting the video in a publishable state for uploading to the public.
5. Uploading: Making the video available to the public.
6. Publishing: Creating the proper pages on this site for easy access to all of you.

And thats how you do a marathon in a very basic way.

Hey guys,

I am reconsidering my choice of using youtube as our primary video host.

It has come to my attention that videos hosted on youtube are lower quality than the ones on gamespot. I do not however want to use gamespot as our primary host. I am thinking of using google video for the following reasons.

1. Video quality although lower than gamespot is much better than youtube.
2. You can fast forward to any part in the video without it being loaded first. (I love this)
3. It’s google so they are not going anywhere (reliability)
4. Has the power of the google search engine to help find videos.
5. If you click on the go to google video link on the embedded video you can watch it in full screen and rate the video. (Please rate it)

UPDATE: I have uploaded all the videos since we started using youtube to google and replaced all the embedded videos on this site so please take a look at the new google video player and remember you can jump to any part of the video now.

My team came 2nd in the Battlefield 2142 tournament hosted by gamespot. I enjoyed it a lot but it was lack of organization on the defense of our titan that was the end of us.

My highlights of the final as knifing the best guy on their team (maybe you heard about it on Tournament TV) and I also single handedly took down an enemy walking as an infantry unit. (with RDX)

Thank you to all who cheered us on and watched Tournament TV.

In other news the Splinter Cell: Double Agent is still on for 2:00PM tommorow.

UPDATE: After watching the re-run if tournament tv I noticed for about 3-5min they focused on me. If you want to know it’s when they follow the person who goes cloaked and runs after a tank and nearly gets blown up by it. Thats me. Then after they still follow me for a little while.

UPDATE 2: I have uploaded the part of the War of the Titan final with me in it as described above for your convenience.

It is official now we have made it to the finals.

However now we can’t use the beacon on the titan.

In other news we unofficially won the semi-finals in the BF2142 tournament. However the opposing team said we had cheated and now the game in under review of the admins.

Note: We did not cheat.

Today we will be filming our first November episode. We will feature guest Dark Elf and Prince of Persia: Two Thrones.

Note that editing and publishing will not be done until after my tournament match so expect delays in the episode being watchable.

Thats right Team 5 has advanced to the semi-finals.

The next match will be on Wednesday at 7:00PM, right after the filming of HPAW. So expect delays in the editing and uploading of HPAW.

EDIT/UPDATE: I thought you guys might want to know that I was a squad leader on our team and we were in charge of leading the offence on the enemy titan.
