HPAW April 25th 2012: subATOMIC
The HPAW episode returns with a brand new game subATOMIC. A game which did not exist at all a week ago and was made by our good friend and HPAW crew, Dante the Jedi and his friend Murray. Made in 72 hours for the Ludum Dare game jam subATOMIC is a point-and-click adventure game with TENS, literally TENS of jokes. Brilliant work from Jedi and his friend.
This was incredible, especially given that Dante and other-guy only had three days to do it. It perfectly captured the atmosphere of those old Sierra point and click games (I never played Monkey Island, but I played King’s Quest so I think I’m justified in making this assertion). I know it was short, but it had better writing than a lot of games created these days that are meant to be funny. Bioware should be ashamed.
