Crysis 2 Marathon
Patch 1.2 released for Crysis 2. This has apparently fixed the Nano-Catalyst and melee after death bugs. I have not yet tested the accuracy of this. Never the less, this entire marathon was filmed at version 1.1 and was affected by the previously mentioned bugs.
Crysis returns to the world again, and we have a marathon to cover it. Welcome to HPAW’s Crysis 2 Marathon played on PC (version 1.1). Joining us into the battered city of New York is survival expert WorldGone Awry, Teclis, Kaisuke, Nw Striker and our soup expert Biske (will he even read this?). I (Mempf) will be the one playing this marathon where a large focus will be exploration of the environments and collection of the collectibles. Will Crysis 2 live up to its name? Great to see crysis on Hpaw again, the first one is my favourite marathon apart from resident evil 4. i have been playing it on the xbox360 and at points the framerate dies a little and the music skips but thats just being picky, great game i am really enjoying it. Multi-player is good too.
FYI some employee released the beta testing of this game when it still had glitches and crashes. now looking at the game it looks better then the first and the side mission.
This is fucking awesome. How many parts will this marathon have?
Man, I just cringed at that point in part 6 where you actually had the words “Pick up collectible dog tag” on the screen for half a second, but never found the thing. That just annoyed me. Otherwise, great marathon so far. Always love it when you do a marathon of a game like Crysis or Mass Effect where you can choose several play styles. So far I’ve played through Crysis 2 1½ times while watching the marathon, though I already have all the collectibles.
@TonViper Wow, I went back and watched that, how did no one notice there was a dog tag there? I just went back and got that one.
I had the exact same reaction as TonViper. I knew where the dog tags were and i was pretty sure they would find them. When they were standing right on top of them i was screaming at the screen “they’re right there! you’re standing on them!”.
But still it’s been a great marathon so far.
wait, can someone please explain what happened to crysis 1? at the end of crysis 1 they said Nomad was going back to the island well where the hell is NOMAD?!?! oh and this was a great gameplay you really covered crysis 2 thoroughly
