It has finally arrived, the Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Marathon! Join Mempf, Teclis and Kaisuke on the latest (but chronologically first) Kingdom Hearts game on the PSP. This marathon is starting as first encounter meaning on one here has played the game previous to filming the marathon.

We don’t claim to be experts at the game nor is this intended as a guide in anyway. We decided to play the game on proud mode to unlock the secret movie. The first “chunk” of the marathon was filmed in 24 hours and yielded over 12 hours of footage. This is as far as we have filmed as of the writing of the sentence. We do plan on filming more of the game although “finishing it” has yet to be decided, however, anything filmed after that first “chunk” may not be first encounter.

There is also a “How Many Deaths?” contest on the forums, entries will close when Part 6 is posted. There will be prizes! Now with that all said let’s get to the marathon!

Gah it’s so annoying when you start making judgments about that game. “This is sounding like a stupid battle system”. IT’S NOT! Hahah. The best one out of any of the games.

i just want to say if you want to fight the final boss of the game you need to get all the xeanort reports it helps unlock the final episode

I’ll explain that scene of Terra and Ven in Land of Departure looking up and saying “Sora”.

Okay, so in the Birth by Sleep Ultimania, there is this interview with Tetsuya Nomura. In it he says that all those scenes where the jump around to different characters having them say “Sora”, is a symbolic. None of those scenes actually happened. All that happened was that Ansem said his name is Sora and Aqua cried and said “Sora!”. And that’s it.

Also, no secret bosses? There’s two. And you can fight them with each of the characters.
