HPAW April 2nd: Heavy Rain
HPAW returns with another new episode. This time the rain is heavy, the mood just right, a near perfect execution of story telling. Heavy Rain is this weeks focus and although we have a slow start (first encounter episode) the game really drew me in. We have a full cast (and a guest, kinda) so enjoy the start of Heavy Rain!

Great one! First 20 minutes were the best I thought.

Awesome choice for an episode. HR starts slow but after the slow beginning it gets good, really good.
Actually, Tacman. It’s the first 18 minutes and 34 seconds. Don’t seel them short.
Seriously, mempf. You filmed installation? Filling up a ps3 video with multiple installs to minimize time spent playing?
Ug, that’s right. Seel.
So next time we encounter something like installation/updating you say we shouldn’t extend the episode to make up for the lost time?
Maybe you forget but 2 hour EPISODES are quite uncommon. Also the installation time gave us general time to talk about stuff outside the scope of the episode.

Mempf, I have been a member of HPAW for maybe 2 years now and I love how this site is set up.. but I have one complaint about the volume of voices being too loud at times; at times, someone (not in the game, one of you guys) will yell or scream and it can be disturbing since I have other people who live in my house who wonder who’s making loud noise. I’m sorry to complain because you guys really are brilliant, I just thought I’d bring that to your attention for future reference if possible =)
Like, maybe there’s a way around it? Not headphones, but maybe there’s something I could do to solve the problem. Any input would be appreciated -salas
I heard you say that at the beginning and think not that I am complaining, but I am saying pause the video until installation is doe. I didn’t realize it was troublesome to pause a bit. I’m aware of first encounter…just wasn’t aware it was first encounter with ps3.

good one, maybe a lot of people may say that this game is bored but i think is a good experience with a lot of drama
