Goodbye YouTube
Well it seems like it finally happened. We got “3 strikes” on our YouTube account and automatically suspended. We saw this coming a couple of weeks ago and started to make preparations in case this occurred. We will not let this affect HPAW as we now have our own video player that should work for most people.
We are currently in the process of making our older content available in this new player and everything up to and including the Resident Evil 5 marathon is already available. Your comments on this post will help us decide which marathons/episodes to do next. We do not expect this to be a short process and it may be quite some time before all videos are available in the new player.
In other news, the Crysis marathon has been completed with the release of the combined Part 9 & 10. So please check out the front page and try the new video player for videos going back to RE5. Also take the following poll and leave your comments. For video playback help please email videosupport@hpaw.net for assistance.
UPDATE: I URGE people to try videos other than the Crysis Marathon before answering this poll. The Crysis Marathon has much higher requirements than our other videos.

What was the exact reason, those useless gits gave your for suspension.
um Mempf cant you make another account? and the player sucks. use the kind from the gears of war marathon because some people could actually watch these vids with no problems. and if you want a new account i will make one but you will have a maybe 10 min limit which sucks.
shame your channel has been taken down but the new player works okay for me.
Sucks that this had to happen but at least now youtube won’t be a limiting factor for episode lenght.
that sucks i knew that you were suspened when your pic was ereased but that will not happen to me (knocking on wood)the new player is working great for me.
the video sucks the video is buffering so slow and the audio has to buffer too, the video is like a slide show where the pic stays for 5 – 10 seconds so fuck the new player!

Does anyone know why quick time doesn’t load when I want to watch a video for the older ones? The only one that works is the Fallout 3 marathon.

Wow. I just now went to HPAW channel and saw that the account was suspended. Came over to hpaw.net and saw the details. Was it because you showed too much footage of too many games? You know copyright issues? God, now I’m worried. Best of luck to ya Mempf. New player works good for me.
Yeah that sucks. I would like to see the Resident Evil 4 marathon, CoD 4 marathon, Mass Effect, or Metal Gear Solid 4 marathon in the new player.
I’m unsure if this is a real concern at all, but when full screens with a 4:3 monitor instead of a wide-screen monitor, it doesn’t add block bars to the top or bottom to prevent a misshapen video. It’s a shame too, because full screen runs beautiful on the player otherwise.
You can right click and change the aspect ratio to fit a 4:3 screen or a 16:9 screen.
I have also changed the default mode so it will remain in the correct aspect ratio by default now.
That sucks. As for episodes… Punch-Out!! for the Wii was pretty good. There’s Batman: Arkham Asylum that looks excellent. Maybe an Infamous episode. You could also do TMNT Reshelled or Marvel vs Capcom 2 off of Xbox Live. There are tons of games out there that need to be played by you guys. Stay strong and screw YouTube!

i do have the crysis warhead game and it has been a bitch for me so…yeah
i wanna get crysis so bad after seeing the marathon but i have a mac. and videos work fine and i think are better than what youtube produced. i click for hd or hq and get shit all for quality so fuck youtube eat a dick.
the new player works fine exept for the crysis videos they’re just slide shows with lagging audio….. oh yes, fuck you tube and all that.
