Feedback: Improvements

Category: HPAW,News

Well no matter how busy I get I always love to add new features or make improvments to HPAW and now if your chance to make a difference.

Please leave a comment with what you think would make the HPAW site or videos themselves better. From something new to fixing something that does not work quite right.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT FOR GAME REQUESTS!!! (Bans will be given out Dattebayo style)

what about downloadable HD (1080i) podcasts & marathons for better quality and sound, maybe expensive but its a major improvement from MP4 high quality videos.
also have more guests over MSN or skype messenger to give us brits more inclusion to podcasts

It is not really possible for us to release HD episodes and if we ever did they would be 720p not 1080i

although i love the video podcasts there not very convinient as i can only go on the computer on the weekends so something you could consider maybe is voice podasts as i could listen to them at school.

I think that HPAW should beta a live stream. I know on previous episodes, Mempf says that it is really difficult, but justin.tv has made a tutorial about capturing your video games. This is just a suggestion, but I think that it will be rather cool, because you can take questions, or shout outs from the chatroom. I know that this is a big improvement, but you can beta it to see how it works. Hope you take this into thought, and thank you for giving your fans say about what should change.

How about a new team of mods that will scan the forums and look for infractions in the rules when the regular mods are not on. But if you don’t want to do that just improve the chat where you can see the people on the chat so you don’t join the chat to see who’s on the chat. Or put a bigger limit on the characters for the signatures even slightly.

vBulletin is a GREAT forum tool, and I would highly suggest switching forums to it. http://www.vbulletin.com/
Even try out the demo if you aren’t quite sure.

xfire may not have the best quality but they have come out with a new tool that allows you to broadcast live video so if you want to try anything like that just get an xfire account

That would be cool if HPAW could go live.

When you play a game like Fallout3 or Oblivion where you go into a cave or subway make sure to put on a light or somthing because to me i only see a dark screen with the HUD on it.

use something other than bittorrent to download marathons or put all parts on itunes.

I think that there should be more involvement with the community in the episodes. When an online game is being featured, you could arrange with a handful of forum members the date & time for them to log on, so that they can play co-operatively or competitively alongside the HPAW crew.

I agree with InvaderSnarf’s idea, i can barely see a thing. and on the forums i mentioned that a live hpaw channel, doesn’t mean you guys have to do it though.

I suggest designing your own flash video player so you don’t have to deal with you tube’s compression, fuzzy bull any longer. A nice stream just for your website.

    Lotta work though, I figure.

I would prefer if ALL the videos updated onto your podcast in iTunes, instead of just the first one. It’s just that I always have trouble manually downloading your videos and adding them to my iPod.

    i suggested that

bring back all the old downloads that were deleted e.g. gears of war marathon, splinter cell etc…

I think you should add a bio page for the HPAW team.

Perhaps you could turn the game volume up on the recording sometimes it can be fairly hard to hear, and if I turn the volume up on my computer your voices are to load.
just a thought however its not that important.
