great part, and congratulations on the PS3 Mempf. Looking to more episodes of Hpaw, considering you HAVE been doing quite a few marathons lately.

    part 13 clarification…
naomi never died in mgs1 and did not appear in mgs2..
the flashback was portraying Sniper Wolfs death and Otacons sister (who vamp killed)

This game is awsome but rykson (slayer) some of your info about past metal gear solid games is incorrect. Solidus got slashed in the back by raiden in MGS2.

I know that this video was made 2 years ago, but I have something I think I should say..

Over my life of hardcore gaming, I have only cared to play and collect games that are masterpieces- because only the greats are deserving of my time. I think that Zelda, Mario, Elder Scrolls/Fallout, Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid games are the masterpieces (that I have played) in the videogame industry. But I didn’t even know that MGS was THAT great until a few days ago after playing MGS4. I have to say that the cutscene where Ocelot takes out the US military with the movements of his hand was the best cutscene in the history of videogames. Seriously, I think that MGS4 is the best game that was ever created and the best story ever told.. ofcourse I can’t say that it’s better than FF or Zelda or Elder Scrolls because they’re all different types of games. But MGS4 is definately one of the best games ever created.

After beating the game, I was hesitating if I should spend 16 hours of my time watching HPAW play it (that’s a lot of time to spare just to re-watch someone else play the game), but it was so good, that I thought I’d spare the time…

I loved this marathon, don’t get me wrong…

but I thought you guys (mainly World and one or two others) were really a pain what with the constant coughing in the background and arguing… but what really bothered me was how unappreciative you all were of the awesome parts (such as Ocelot vs US military; come on that was the best cutscene ever created and most emocional; show some emotion and praise!). Idk, I just expected appreciative reactions and reflections on the cool parts which was the main reason I was watching others play it :\

Like I said, 2 years ago, but still.. the rudeness sort of made the marathon a little difficult.. but overall I thought it was still a great marathon. Good as the Oblivion/Shivering Isles Marathon 🙂
