Poll of the Week: January 6th
Not only do I have a new poll for you guys but a little update on HPAW as well. We hopefully should be able to find time to film the Call of Duty 4 marathon soon however we all have jobs now and unfortunately it has become very difficult to schedule a time that works for all of us. I know that I’m starting to sound like Little Kuriboh which is why I refuse to give even a rough estimate on when the marathon will be up. With the Christmas Break now over I will be trying my hardest to get this marathon underway.

why say the proper way?
Im sorry i said the wrong way Mempf. Great now everyones gonna learn how to say it now
I have always pronounced it the right way. I know how it feels to Mumpf. I have a job, and it gets very difficult to schedule time for me. I am trying to get my marathon going, I just haven’t had time. Is it ok if I can be guest on this marathon, or a future episode.

I pronounce it Throatwobbler Mangrove but I voted for the Correct pronunciation
I pronounce it mumpf even though it’s spelled mempf.
when I first joined HPAW I pronounced it as mempf but after a couple of weeks I got better at pronouncing your name. Its because when people see the “e” its most likely to be a mempf instead of a mumpf.

i just joined HPAW so i thought it was pronounced as mempf. hope you will find time for the CoD4 marathon soon! gonna be great, you guys should try on Veteran.
It’s funny but i’ve always pronounced it mumpf because it just felt right. Now i know that i’ve been pronouncing it correctly 🙂
On the cod4-marathon, i hope you guys can work out your schedules and get the marathon filmed soon.
i have always said mempf (the way it spelled) it just sounds right to me.

Seeing as how you yourself (as well as HPAW staff) pronounce it as “mumpf”, I’ve been pronouncing it that way as well.
The first time I read the name “Mempf”, I pronounced it the wrong way, until I heard how it was supposed to be pronounced.
memph memph memph… doesn’t really SEEM like Mumph. Either way, I’m sorry ’bout that.
When I saw the name at first I thought it was the other way, but once I heard the correct pronunciation I started saying it the right way. I like the correct way, it has that great impact when you say it.
