Legend of Zelda: TP Marathon Returns!

January 30th, 2008 | Category: News,The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

The first project to be returned to the server is the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Marathon.

All 28 parts have been returned to the Legend of Zelda: TP Marathon page in their original WMV forms.

I am aware that you guys want the official episodes to return as well (see poll below) so that will be my next project and hopefully will be started soon.

UPDATE3: High-Quality Versions Up!

December 11th, 2006 | Category: HPAW,News,The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Our deal with AggravatedGamers unexpectedly ended early and as a result all videos they hosted are now deleted. I have not yet had a chance to upload the videos to our new servers. That should happen later today.

At this time the problems are:
-All High-Quality versions are down except latest HPAW.
-All Zelda Marathon Lost Parts are unwatchable as they have no Google Video mirror yet.

Sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

UPDATE: New server now started to stabilize out so soon the rest of the videos will return and the site will once again return to normal.

UPDATE2: The only videos now missing are some of the Zelda Marathon parts. They are constantly being uploaded and all will be available shortly.

UPDATE3: All videos should now be up and running. If you have any problems with a video please report it as there could be a problem on our end.

Yes thats right the marathon is now able to be continued and up to part 18 is up with more on the way.

Note we are still having problems with Google Video and it seems to be on their end so for now Google Video versions are on hold. We will check periodically on this issue until it’s resolved.

Gamespot Zelda Review: My thoughts

November 17th, 2006 | Category: News,The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

All right guys I read the review and I have something to say.

First of all the review is fine. Jeff was not biased and reviewed it fair and square. He enjoyed the game hence why the tilt was a 10. The problem was that Gamespot’s reviews are “too good” and they deducted points for the Wii’s features being forced onto Zelda. Stuff like the Wii controller speaker and the fact the sword swinging didn’t feel any better than using a button. The important thing is he enjoyed the game and we will all as well.

That being said I would wait to see what the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess gets as most the negative seems due to the Wii specific features and not the game itself.

With THAT said I still think the more enjoyable fun version will be the Wii’s.

UPDATE: It seems that other reviews are being less strict than Gamespot’s. IGN gave it a 9.5/10 and 1UP 10/10. So this just goes to show that reading one review for a game is not enough.

Mempf out, see you on Sunday.
